Our philosophy of inclusivity and the intensity of our design process results in clothes fit like a hug and wear like a dream.

At HESTA, we believe that inclusivity is more important than exclusivity. We make clothes for all bodies, especially for those that have been historically excluded from the fashion world. Curve bodies, trans bodies, butts, bellies, and boobs— this is your safe space, tailored (literally) specifically for you. We support you, with our seams, sewing, and spirit. 

For too long, people have been made to feel like their bodies are the problem, rather than the fashion industry. We’re here to change that. Everyone should feel special, considered, and empowered by what they choose to put on their body. When you’re wearing HESTA, you’re going to feel like your best self— whoever that is today.

Our philosophy of apparel design is completely different from the majority of clothing companies today. We reject the idea of fast fashion, and promote meticulously made, quality clothing that can be repaired and worn year after year. We truly believe that we are the future of fashion, and that the care for the customer should be the goal of all clothing brands.

We source USA-made fabrics and materials, and our clothes are ethically made right here in Brooklyn. In an industry of excess, we’re passionate about sustainability. We cut all of our clothes from one piece of fabric for minimal waste, and avoid over-production by keeping numbers low. We to use every last piece of material— down to the scraps!— and our punk rock jewelry is made with vintage findings that are one-of-a-kind; just like you.
